“A life lived in fear is a life half lived…”

W. A. (Wayne) Blinko was born in Amersham and grew up in the town of Hemel Hempstead. He attended John F Kennedy school and West Herts College and holds a level three diploma in social care and a level three in Dream Weaver website design. He lives with his wife, their adopted daughter and two cats. 

 

Wayne has been writing for as long as he can remember and finally published his first book in 2020. Broken Ceasefire is an exciting science fiction tale about friendship and aliens threatening humanity’s existence. Tango Squadis the prequel to this story and has been written as a standalone series. It is due to be published later in 2021.

 

In his free time, apart from writing a lot, Wayne enjoys classic cars and playing the latest video games. He runs his own YouTube and TikTok channels that are geared towards pop culture and trivia and devotes some of his free time to fundraising for his favourite charities, having completed the first London Landmarks half marathon on behalf of the McMillan cancer charity.

 

Despite being a writer faced with the challenges of being dyslexic, Wayne’s biggest desire is to be able to write full time and bring even more great reads to his growing army of fans around the world.
